How much is it?

Personal Website with 100MB disk space is only $15.00 per month.
Small Business accounts with 200 MB disk storage, your own Domain Name Service, virtual webspace, and unlimited email forwarding is $25.00 per month.
Small Business Plus accounts include 400 MB disk storage, your own Domain Name Service, virtual webspace, and multiple email addresses are $40.00 per month.
Large Business accounts include unlimited disk storage, your own Domain Name Service, dedicated IP number unlimited email hosting or forwarding, and CGI or API scripting access start at $50.00 per month.
Co-Located/Dedicated Servers if your business needs heavy duty web servers and you do not want the "upkeep overhead" with staff, maintenance etc. consider one of our Dedicated Server Packages to support your business.

How do I get my own Domain Name?
Domain Names are registered with the InterNIC. We recommend Verisign (formerly Network Solutions) for name registration. They have been around the longest. They charge a fee of $35 per year ($70.00 for the first two years). Maxi Net Services will help you register your Domain Name for you for FREE, provided you determine that the name you want is not in use. You can check on the availability of names by using the whois server on the InterNIC website. The registration process has changed and payment is now required at the time of registration. The InterNIC requires that payment be made, by credit card, at the time of registration.

What server will my website be on?
Maxi Net Services multiple platform websites on either Microsoft NT IIS servers or Unix (Linux) Apache servers. There are pros and cons for either platform, however it seems that the Unix/Linux Apache platform is far more popular with professional webmasters than the Microsoft solution. You should see the current statistics maintained on all platforms for more information.

How do I access my website?
There are a number of ways to do this. The easiest is to use Microsoft Front Page since all of our servers have Front Page Extensions installed. When you edit your pages they are automatically posted. You can also post your pages via FTP using programs like Go Live etc.

What about performance?
Our bandwidth utilization is monitored every five minutes 24x7 with the results posted publicly for you to review. We will always monitor our Internet utilization and provide adequate bandwidth for our customers.
